The oxygen released promotes microbial activity, while the microorganisms in the biological component contribute to the decomposition of organic matter.

The product also binds the phosphate released during this breakdown in the form of an insoluble mineral, apatite. This makes the phosphate less available to nourish algae.

What type of sludge accumulation is it intended for?

SchlixX Plus acts on organic deposits. It does not remove sand or mineral sediments carried in by water inflows. OASE recommends analyzing the sludge beforehand to determine whether its composition is suitable for this treatment.

Dosage indicated by OASE

The 10 kg package covers 200 m² at a dosage of 50 g/m².
