A UVC combined with compatible filtration can address suspended algae. Sizing depends on the volume, fish and permissible flow rate.
The filter clogs frequently
Examine the arrival and separation of waste. A skimmer, pre-filtration and systems such as ScreenMatic² can meet different needs.
Algae are attaching themselves to the stones
Identify their source and nutrient inputs. A UVC alone does not act directly on attached algae.
Choose the complete system
The pump, pipes and height affect operation. Exposure and the presence of koi must also be taken into account. The stated maximum capacity is not enough to define your installation.
Depending on the situation, maintenance, a consumable or an additional step may be enough. Other ponds require a complete overhaul.
Maintenance you can carry out
Check access, waste removal and the drainage of cleaning water. Automation still requires checks and consumables.
If you are often away, involve the caretaker in the selection. Remote functions depend on equipment compatibility and do not replace visits.
