Why feed saki-hikari food to your koi carp? Saki-Hikari® is a revolutionary diet that has been specially developed for Nishikigoi professionals and Koi enthusiasts.
The secret of Saki-Hikari ® is Hikari Germ™ . These live bacteria (lactobacillus) are added to Saki-Hikari and provide optimal intestinal activity. The result is exceptionally good digestion, rapid and consistent growth, less water pollution, and healthier, healthier Koi. Hikari Germ bacterium is also called probiotic.
Saki-hikari foods have been specially developed for Nishikigoi professionals and Koi enthusiasts. s aki-hikari food is a unique line of foods that have been developed to meet the specific nutritional needs of koi carp maintaining excellent health, condition, beautiful color and shape.
The beneficial effects of these bacteria are not only known to breeders, these beneficial bacteria are also used in products for human consumption, such as yogurt and Yakult®. Saki-Hikari® is most effective when continuous daily use, the benefits of Hikari Germ diminish when feeding is discontinued and when mixed with other foods.
A diet based on saki-hikari is not reserved for professional use. This food offers significant color enhancement without impacting shiro-ji (white areas).

Feed up to 2 or 3 times a day in season, and in autumn slow down. You have to remember the 5 minute rule: the fish must have swallowed all the food within 5 minutes.
This saki-hikari food contains live FDA/AAFCO approved microorganisms. To store it, keep it at room temperature (below 35°C) and away from direct sunlight, high humidity, or excessive temperature changes.
All fish should feed once the water temperature reaches 8°C. Since the fish are almost in a state of hibernation at this point, they will then live on their stored body fat until the spring feedings begin. Never use this food for a human being :-) It goes without saying but we prefer to remind you.

After an 18-day feeding period, the amount of accumulated feces was compared. There was a significantly lower level of litter found in the mid-basin fed by Saki-Hikari.
