Studs: it is often called the bottom cleaner or the algae eater. However, it is not because it feeds on the bottom that it will clean your whole pond. The stud has a small brown body with black patterns. It can reach a size of 12 to 15CM. Its life expectancy is 5 years. We advise you minimum 70CM depth for a healthy gudgeon and a spawning area at 20CM. It is advisable to put it in shoals of at least 10 fish. It feeds mainly on insects and worms. Sun perch: In nature, a sun perch can reach a size of 20CM. These perches can live up to 10 to 12 years. This fish needs a depth of 70CM and a spawning area at 20CM. We recommend limiting sun perches in the pool. They are recommended in a koi pond if you want to limit reproduction.
