The installation of nest boxes helps to preserve their existence. Many types of bats live in holes in snags. Place a few nest boxes in the same environment because bats are quickly tense to find another nest as soon as they feel threatened or disturbed. Another advantage of placing nest boxes is that this way you prevent bats from nesting in or against your house. The presence of bats does bring some advantages: they are real mosquito hunters; an adult bat can savor 5000 mosquitoes in 1 night!
