Anti-Sludge

Sludge reducer products for garden ponds: bacteria that break down organic sludge, cleaners such as Boost & Clean or Biobooster+, and maintenance packs. By reducing organic matter, they deprive blanket weed of part of its nutrients.

How to choose a sludge reducer?

• Sludge depth: with a thick layer, vacuum first, then treat to break down what remains.
• How it works: bacteria (Bactovase, SediFree) for gradual action, cleaners for the bottom and walls.
• Volume: from 3 to 500 m³ depending on the size.
• Sequence: after Boost & Clean, wait 72 hours before adding bacteria; switch off the UV during the bacterial treatment.
