Aquatic plants

Marginal, oxygenating, floating and native plants, plus water lilies, to create a living, more stable pond. Choose by planting depth and the role you expect: filtering, oxygenating, flowering or providing shade.

How to choose your aquatic plants?

• Depth: marginal and marsh plants in shallow water, submerged oxygenating plants, water lilies in the deep zone.
• Role: purifying plants (Butomus, Iris, Typha) to take up nutrients, oxygenating plants (Hornwort) for balance.
• Format: set of 3 plants, all-in-one kit in an 18 cm pot, floating basket or ready-to-plant water lily kit.
• Fish: koi graze on some plants, so protect them in baskets.
