Green Water - Unicellular Algae Solutions Against Green Water

Green water is due to the evolution of micro-algae in the presence of a stagnant medium and whose temperature rises. When the biological cycle of the pool becomes unbalanced, the organic matter settles at the bottom of the pool, forming a carpet of silt.

The latter fuels the proliferation of micro-algae giving a green or brown color to the pond water. The phenomenon is amplified in summer, in sunny weather, because the water is depleted of oxygen, making the work of the aerobic bacteria responsible for “digesting” organic matter less effective.

  • Bacteria to fight against green water ( Bactogen )
  • UV lamps for the long-term fight against green water (4W/M³)
  • Flocculants (see below)

Discover our solutions for treating green water, often flocculants, these will allow you to quickly recover clear water! Don't forget to analyze your water parameters.
