JBL PROTERRA FRUCTIL - Fruit food for tortoises.

Basic fruit food for a varied diet of all tortoises. High palatability induced by the smell and natural colours of fruit. Tortoises react strongly to attractive odours. Palatability is very important, especially in recently acquired animals, so that they obtain energy quickly.

Tortoises are foodies and won't eat just anything, but they do like some things that they shouldn't eat. For example, tomatoes, bananas, citrus fruits and meaty foods are off limits.

The composition of the JBL PROTERRA food range was developed in collaboration with Petra Kölle, a veterinary surgeon at the University of Munich, and with specialist tortoise breeders. The palatability tests clearly showed that the tortoises clearly preferred the food from the JBL PROTERRA range to all other foods offered.
