The outer shell protects the siporax ring inside, directing the flow of water directly into it. In this way, the flow through the sintered glass ring is even more efficient and the nitrification performance of the filter bacteria is increased by maximum oxygen supply.

Thanks to its unique tunnel structure with a large number of three-dimensional pores, the siporax inside clearly offers optimal conditions for the colonization of filter bacteria. The surface necessary for colonization is increased and the degradation of pollutants is maximized. The result is biologically clean water and particularly long filter maintenance intervals.

The dosage depends on the number of fish in the pond. For 1,000 grams of fish, 145 balls are needed. For a pond with a moderate number of fish, with approximately 200 g of fish and a maximum quantity of 1,000 g of fish per 1,000 liters of pond volume, the 10 liter container with 210 balls is sufficient for a volume of 1,500 to 7,300 liters and the 50 liter packaging with 1,050 balls is sufficient for a volume of 7,350 to 37,000 liters.

For a simple calculation of the necessary quantity, the weight of the fish (in grams) is multiplied by the factor 0.145. This gives the number of balls needed.
