water lilies

Discover our ideal water lilies to decorate your pool. Here are the steps to follow to plant your water lilies:

Make a mixture of 2/3 garden soil - 1/3 potting soil. Lay the burlap in the basket and put some soil in the bottom. Put two planting pebbles in the basket. Fill the basket to the top with the potting mix. Leave some room for the gravel on the surface. Install the water lily on the surface. The rosette should not be buried. Cut the burlap 10 cm from the basket and fold the edges over the ground. Place gravel on the surface to retain the soil. This gesture is all the more important if you have koi carp which could devour the rhizome and the leaves of the plant before it has even been able to develop. Immerse the water lily. Count 60 to 80 cm deep so that the water lily never freezes and 30 to 40 cm if it is a dwarf variety.
