Quick test for determining the nitrite content in freshwater or saltwater aquariums and in ponds.

Nitrite is a toxic nitrogen compound, produced in the event of a disturbed bacterial balance or new impoundment. The test displays exactly the nitrite content of the water.
Comparative laboratory system to compensate for the inherent color of the water: fill the test tubes with water to be tested, add the reagents to a test tube, place the test tubes in the support block, note the values on the color chart.
Use: for new fresh water tank: daily for 3 weeks. For new seawater tank: once a week. And in case of disease or death of fish.
On the JBL/Thèmes/Aquarium or Bassin website, you will find detailed information on water analyzes and troubleshooting
Included in delivery: 1 Nitrite test for approx. 50 measurements, 2 reagents, 2 glass test tubes with screw cap, syringe, comparator and color chart. Reagent refills available separately.
