Tetra Pond AlgoFin* effectively combats the most common types of algae such as filamentous, suspended, and slimy algae in ornamental ponds. The special active ingredient is selectively absorbed by the algae and inhibits their photosynthesis ability. The algae are thus destroyed within two to three weeks. At the same time, Tetra Pond AlgoFin* prevents the development of other algae. This product is suitable for ornamental ponds with fish, plants, and microorganisms. For the best possible result, shake Tetra Pond AlgoFin* well before use and follow the detailed instructions. Thanks to the supplied measuring cap, Tetra Pond AlgoFin* can be dosed very precisely.

Use the measuring cap and add 50 ml per 1,000 L of pond water and distribute the liquid evenly in the water, for example using a stick. Remove as much algae as possible before and after treatment, for example using the Tetra Algae Net, as dead algae harm water quality. Ensure sufficient oxygen supply and do not filter using UV clarifiers or activated carbon for at least seven days after adding the product.

During treatment, do not perform any water changes for four weeks. To combat a heavy algae bloom, you can repeat the treatment using half the indicated amount after these four weeks. Tetra recommends the Tetra Pond Test 7in1 to regularly check the most important water values and the use of Tetra Pond PhosphateMinus to prevent algae development from the start.
