Maintenance and cleaning
Plant or food residues and metabolic products pollute the water in an aquarium. The cleaning of the tank, the accessories and a regular change of part of the water ensure the well-being of the occupants and preserve the pleasure of having an aquarium.
Pipe cleanliness
Thanks to its ultra-flexible steel spiral with brushes at each end, the JBL double pipe brush keeps the pipes clean and thus increases the efficiency of the filter by 30%. Regular cleaning maintains the biological balance in the aquarium and protects the filter from loss of performance.
The fouling of the inside of the pipes is not only due to the formation of algae, it is also based on normal biological processes: mats of bacteria form inside on the plastic. They are not a problem for fish but, as already mentioned, this slime deposit can reduce the water flow by up to 30%.
Convenient use
Remove the hose from the appliance on which it is used, push the metal spiral with brushes at the ends into the hose and pull. Cleaning approximately every eight weeks.
