In the limited space of an aquarium, essential minerals are not often available in sufficient quantities. Some of these important substances are not absorbed by fish through food, but directly through the water.

Whether the source water has a low mineral content (especially reverse osmosis water), or the nutrients are consumed by organisms that are either present in large numbers in the aquarium or are highly demanding (plants, invertebrates, and microorganisms also consume nutrients), the lack of these essential substances leads to dangerous deficiencies.

The highly soluble sera mineral salt provides, in a targeted manner, all the important trace elements, as well as valuable calcium, magnesium, and potassium in their pure form, without harmful additives.

Tip:
Given that it does not change the KH (only the GH is slightly increased, not the KH), sera mineral salt can also be used without problems in low-hardness water aquariums (e.g. for discus), especially as protection against hole-in-the-head disease.
