Sugar Valley Oxilife OX1
Description
WATER TREATMENT THAT ADAPTS TO YOUR NEEDS
- Disinfection with minimal salt
- Combining hydrolysis and low-salinity electrolysis results in maximum disinfection with minimal chlorine production
In water with low conductivity (from 500 mS), hydroxide, ozone, peroxide, and oxygen are automatically generated on site to disinfect the water. 1 to 1.5 grams of salt per liter is sufficient.
The disinfection principle is based on the dissociation of the H and O atoms in the water molecule (H2O), thereby generating active substances with a high disinfection potential (more powerful than chlorine!).
Hydrolysis. Water (H2O) consists of 2 hydrogen atoms (H2) and 1 oxygen atom (O). Hydrolysis originally means “dissociation of water.” When an electrical voltage passes through water, the chemical bond is broken. The negative oxygen charges (or ions) move toward the positive electrode (anode).
Other chemical reactions also take place during HYDROLYSIS and generate specific ions that can oxidize and act as a supplementary disinfectant. The table shows the Redox potential values of the elements produced by hydrolysis compared with other oxidizing elements.
The hydrolysis unit has a diameter of 63 mm. (Not suitable for use with EPDM film)
