In water with low conductivity (from 500 mS), hydroxide, ozone, peroxide, and oxygen are automatically generated on site to disinfect the water. The system also includes a copper ionizer. However, the system can operate with >1 gram of salt/liter and thus also produce additional chlorine. The salt can be concentrated from 0 to 100 grams of NaCl/liter.
Hydrolysis oxidation
The operating principle is based on the action of copper (Cu + +) as a flocculating and bactericidal agent and on a hydrolysis system that splits water molecules into oxygen, ozone, and peroxide. The result is complete water treatment based on oxidation-flocculation without chemicals.
Hydrolysis. Water (H2O) consists of 2 hydrogen atoms (H2) and 1 oxygen atom (O). Hydrolysis originally means "dissociation of water." When an electrical voltage passes through water, the chemical bond is broken. The negative charges of oxygen (or ions) move toward the positive electrode.
Other chemical reactions also occur during HYDROLYSIS and generate specific ions that can oxidize and act as a supplementary form of disinfection. The table lists the Redox potential values of the elements produced by hydrolysis compared with other oxidizing elements.
Copper ionization. Additional copper ionization considerably increases the power of hydrolysis. The bactericidal and algaecidal properties of copper ionization are complemented by the high oxidation power of the hydrolysis system, which together result in natural water purification without adding chemicals! This system can also serve as an ANTI-LEGIONELLA SYSTEM.
For other options. The hydrolysis unit has a diameter of 63 mm, and the ionization chamber has a 2" external-thread dimension. (Not suitable for use with EPDM film.)
