Fish treatments

Treatments for pond and aquarium fish: products for parasites or bacterial infections, wound care and anaesthetic for handling koi. First identify the problem (microscope examination) and check the water before treating.

How to choose a fish treatment?

• Diagnosis: a parasite, a bacterium or poor water quality are not treated in the same way.
• Water first: if the parameters are poor, correct them before any treatment.
• Volume: dosing is calculated on the real number of litres (e.g. Alparex 1000 ml for 20,000 litres).
• Filtration: follow the instructions regarding UV and bacteria during treatment.
