Saki-Hikari® was first specially developed for Japanese professional breeders. During Koi breeding, some problems always arise: poor water quality due to accumulated organic waste and poor filtration, rapid spread of disease, unbalanced growth and fat growth. These problems are mainly caused by diet. Saki-Hikari® prevents these problems and provides excellent results. The proof for this, are the 14 All Countries Grand Champions of Japan since the beginning of the century. Saki-Hikari® feed is the result of years of scientific research, development and close cooperation with Japanese Koi breeders.

Saki-Hikari's Secret

The secret of Saki-Hikari® is Hikari Germ™. These live bacteria (lactobacillus) are added to Saki-Hikari and provide optimal intestinal activity. The result is exceptionally good digestion, rapid and consistent growth, less water pollution, and healthier, healthier Koi. Hikari Germ bacterium is also called probiotic. The beneficial effects of these bacteria are not only known to breeders, these beneficial bacteria are also used in products for human consumption, such as yogurt and Yakult®.

Saki-Hikari® is most effective when continuous daily use, the benefits of Hikari Germ diminish when feeding is discontinued and when mixed with other foods. Saki-Hikari, a revolutionary food for professional Koi breeders and enthusiastic Koi hobbyists! The Secret of Saki-Hikari Koi

First, the Hikari Germ bacterium ensures faster food breakdown in the digestive tract. Then the bacteria provide optimal digestion and food consumption in the intestines. Because the Hikari Germ bacterium nests in the intestines, pathogenic bacteria are combated, stress is prevented and the immune system is significantly strengthened. Finally, Hikari Germ ensures that the amount of excretion decreases and becomes powdery. This filters the excrement better, leaving less mud and dirt and improves water quality.
