How to choose pond bacteria?

• Phase: nitrifying bacteria (NitriBoost, Optinit) at start-up or after cleaning the filter, then maintenance bacteria.
• Volume: from 3 m³ (Bactogen) to 500 m³ (Bacto Maintenance Pro 3 kg).
• Conditions: bacteria establish better in warming water; switch off the UV during treatment.
• Result: less organic matter means fewer nutrients available for algae.
