Ecolat rolled up Brown - 25M x 14CM x 0.7CM - ECOO pond border

The goal is to achieve a perfectly horizontal pond edge and to see as little liner as possible. This can be achieved by using Ecolat® slats from ECOO.

Paths, lawns, flower beds, and vegetable gardens can also be landscaped in the same way with the Ecolat® edging.  

For curved shapes, the Ecolat® edging is available on 25 or 10 m rolls. It is flexible and ideal for free-form shapes. For straight ponds, it is available as a straight slat 2 or 3 m long.
The Ecolat® slats are fixed by means of Ecopic stakes with an H-profile. They are easy to drive into the ground and provide great stability.

Easy installation:

ECOLAT POND EDGE

For a beautiful pond edge, it is important to position the Ecolat® slat perfectly horizontally. It essentially determines the water level.

1. Drive the Ecopic stakes into the ground and fix the Ecolat slat against the stakes.
2. Place a protective felt in the pond and over the Ecolat® edge. This felt protects the liner from anything sharp in the ground.
3. Then place the pond liner over the edge and finish neatly on the outside.

ECOLAT EDGING

Partially buried, Ecolat is firmly fixed in the ground using Ecopic stakes.

1. Lay out Ecolat where the border will finally be placed. The Ecolat roll will then unroll. When laying it out, follow the undulations of the roll.
2. Dig a trench and place Ecolat in it. Preferably place at least 2/3 of the Ecolat in the ground.
3. Drive the Ecopic stakes into the ground with a rubber mallet. The H-profile guarantees high stability. The stakes should end up about 3 cm lower than the top edge of the Ecolat and are invisible once the work is finished. Depending on the type of application, place the stakes at least every 50 cm.
4. Fix Ecolat against the Ecopic stakes with stainless steel screws (2 per stake). A spirit level is a handy tool for a successful result.
5. Fill the side of the border with soil, bark, pebbles, etc.
