PVC Unions

Pressure PVC unions, solvent-weld or threaded: they let you remove a pump, filter or UV without cutting the pipework. Choose by pipe diameter and the type of connection on each side.

How to choose a PVC union?

Connection: glued/glued, glued/threaded or threaded/threaded, depending on the two parts to join.
Diameter: that of the PVC pipe or the device thread.
Sealing: an O-ring seals when the nut is tightened; tighten by hand, without tools, to avoid damaging it.
Gluing: degrease with PVC cleaner before gluing, then let it dry before refilling with water.
