Corten steel, also called weathering steel, is a metal alloy consisting of iron, to which copper, silicon, nickel, and chromium have been added. Corten steel is a type of strong steel that has the property of being covered with a protective layer of rust when exposed to outdoor air. This solid, natural layer of rust provides protection against further corrosion. Corten steel is characterized by its brown-orange rust color and longevity.

Important:

Products are delivered unoxidized
Ensure proper drainage (holes in the standard version of the planter). No excess water should remain in the planter, otherwise the material may eventually rust due to the combination of oxygen and soil.
Do not use hydro granules, which can retain moisture
Products must be unpacked immediately after delivery so that any moisture between the packaging and the product is not trapped. This can cause rust and irregular stains.
