Remove leaves and deposits with equipment selected according to the depth, access, and waste in your pond.
Choose a vacuum · Ask for advice
What would you like to remove?
Leaves on the surface
A skimmer can intercept debris before it sinks. A net makes occasional removal easier. The choice depends on the surface area and installation conditions.
Sludge at the bottom
Compare Pondovac 4 and Pondovac 5 based on the depth to be reached and the drainage point. Check the model’s specifications and the accessories required.
Deposits between cleanings
Maintenance products can complement the method when they are suitable for the pond’s inhabitants, temperature, and conditions. They do not replace the physical removal of a thick layer of sludge.
Prepare your choice
Measure the maximum depth and the distance to the drainage point. Photograph the access area and indicate the fish, stones, plants, and hard-to-reach areas.
If there is a strong odor or fish in distress, start with a diagnosis before carrying out extensive cleaning.
Work in stages
Remove large debris, then vacuum in sections while monitoring the water level. Completely draining the pond is not always necessary, but vacuuming may remove water. Plan for appropriate refilling.
