Prepare for the season with the right parts for your pump, filter and UVC system. A legible label is the best starting point.

Points to check
UVC lamps and consumables
Confirm the model, power and connection. Take advantage of the maintenance specified in the manual to check the quartz sleeve and seals suitable for your device.
Pump rotors
A drop in flow can have several causes. Identify the rotor by the pump's complete reference rather than by its appearance alone.
Filter media and seals
Assess their condition and choose the correct dimensions. Follow the installation or cleaning instructions specified by the manufacturer.
Testing and biological maintenance
Prepare the necessary tests. Biological products must be used according to their conditions and the water temperature; they are not a universal protocol.
Avoid approximate orders
Photograph the label and old part. Add the serial number or purchase year if you know them. Describe the symptom: stopping, low flow, leak or another change.
A new part does not replace a professional inspection of an electrical problem. Switch off the power before an inspection authorized by the manual.
Make your list
Check the pump, filter maintenance, UVC consumables and tests. Adapt maintenance to the water temperature and fish. Replace necessary parts without changing those that are still in good condition.
