Flex Duplex UV-C 75W Ozone AOP

Description

Unit combining ozone and UV-C, ensuring pool water disinfection with minimal chlorine use.

Operation: using the supplied bypass with venturi, air is drawn in from outside through the space between the UV-C lamp and the quartz glass. Thanks to the special lamp, which can produce both UV-C (254 nm) and ozone (185 nm), the oxygen present in the air is converted into ozone. The ozone produced (max. 0.6 g/h) is mixed with the water via the venturi to perform its disinfecting function. The remaining ozone is then decomposed in the UV housing by UV-C radiation and converted into OH radicals (a process known as advanced oxidation), which have an even stronger oxidizing effect than ozone. This unit therefore provides triple disinfection: ozone, OH radicals, and UV-C.

The housing of the Duplex UV-C is made of duplex stainless steel. These units are therefore suitable for pools that use chlorine and saltwater electrolysis. Equipped with a 25 mm quartz glass with compression fitting. Extra-long cable between the timer housing and the unit for optimal installation flexibility. Transparent lamp head for easy visual inspection of the lamp. Interchangeable brackets ensure easy horizontal and vertical installation.
