Manufacturer data (Griffon / Bison International).

• Blue, thixotropic, very fast-setting PVC adhesive

For bonding flexible pipes and rigid PVC pipes, sleeves and fittings with tight and wider fit (fills the joints) in drainage or pressure systems. Perfectly suitable e.g. for swimming pools and hot tubs as well as for applications in wet conditions. Suitable for diameters ≤ 160 mm. Max. 16 bar (PN 16). Maximum tolerance 0.8 mm gap / 0.2 mm interference (flexible pipes max. 0.3 mm) / 0.2 mm interference. Suitable e.g. for piping systems compliant with EN1329, 1452, 1453, 1455 and ISO15493 standards (PVC).

1. Cut the pipes square, chamfer and deburr.
2. Clean the surfaces to be bonded with Griffon Cleaner and Cleaner Cloth.
3. Apply the adhesive quickly and evenly all around (4-6x) to both surfaces to be bonded (thick layer on the pipe, thin layer in the sleeve).
4. Insert the sleeve directly. Remove excess adhesive. Do not subject the joint to mechanical stress during the first 10 minutes. After use, close the packaging tightly.

The size of the brush depends on the volume in the packaging. Use a suitable packaging (brush) depending on the diameter to be bonded.
