Iwachu Teapot Warmer

Nanbu Tekki: quality and tradition

This cast-iron teapot warmer was made in Morioka, Japan, by the family-owned company Iwachu. It is an elegant and practical complement to your Japanese teapot. Simply place a candle inside to keep your tea warm.

Each Iwachu teapot warmer is made using a traditional artisanal process:

- The molds are prepared by hand.

- Molten cast iron is poured into the molds.

- Once they are cool, the molds are broken to extract the various parts of the teapot warmer.

- All the edges are filed.

- The surface is painted.

- Once the paint is dry, the trivet is carefully packaged.

Iwachu has been making cast-iron objects for more than 100 years. When you buy a teapot or its accessories, make sure it bears the Made in Japan logo; this is a guarantee of quality.
