With the high temperatures of summer, it is important that the food can be easily digested and does not linger long in the digestive system. This is guaranteed by JBL PROPOND SUMMER & COLOR thanks to its composition and the ideal protein/lipid ratio of 4/1. During food intake, the oxygen demand of a koi carp increases to more than 500 mg per kilo of fish per hour! That is why the composition of the food must be adapted to the warm period, when the oxygen content of the water is lowest due to high temperatures. If the water temperature exceeds 30 °C significantly, reactive measures such as providing shade and sometimes stopping feeding should be taken.
