What dosage for nautex?

What dosage should be used for Nautex? The Nautex dosage for a pond depends on several factors, such as the size of the pond, the density of aquatic vegetation, the water temperature, and the initial concentration of organic matter. It is therefore important to follow the instructions on the product label and to use the recommended doses.

  • MAINTENANCE: 100 G/M2 PER APPLICATION, 2X / YEAR
  • SHOCK TREATMENT (VERY SILTED POND, FIRST TIME): 150 TO 200 G/M2, THEN MAINTENANCE
  • 1 Application in Spring AND 1 Application in Autumn
  • PREMIX WATER/NAUTEX TO OBTAIN A "MILK" (25 KG OF NAUTEX PER 100 LITERS OF WATER).
  • SPREAD ACCORDING TO THE SIZE OF THE BODY OF WATER WITH AN ELECTRIC PUMP OR A WATERING CAN.

AREAS OF USE: LAKES, PONDS, DECORATIVE PONDS, FISH FARMING, FISHING LAKES.

According to the product sheet, the Nautex dosage is 100 g/m² per maintenance application, twice a year (spring and autumn), and 150 to 200 g/m² for a shock treatment (very silted pond, first time), before switching to maintenance. However, this dosage may vary depending on the specific conditions of the pond.

It is important to note that Nautex must be applied evenly over the pond, following the instructions on the product label. It is also recommended to measure the concentration of organic matter before and after applying Nautex to assess the effectiveness of the treatment.

If in doubt, it is recommended to consult a pond specialist or an aquaculture professional to determine the optimal dose of Nautex to use in your pond.

What is Nautex?

Nautex is a product used to treat eutrophication problems in ponds and lakes. Eutrophication is a natural process by which nutrients such as nitrates and phosphates accumulate in the water and promote the excessive growth of algae and aquatic plants.

Nautex contains specific enzymes that are capable of breaking down organic matter accumulated in the water, such as dead leaves, algae, and plant debris. The use of Nautex helps maintain the ecological balance of the pond by reducing the amount of organic matter, improving water quality, and reducing dissolved oxygen levels that are consumed by the bacteria responsible for decomposing organic matter.

By reducing the amount of organic matter, Nautex can help prevent the proliferation of algae and aquatic plants, which can improve water quality and promote the growth of fish and other aquatic organisms.

It is important to note that Nautex must be used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and that the dose must be determined based on the specific conditions of the pond or lake. It is also recommended to regularly monitor the water quality of the pond to determine if the treatment is effective and if it is necessary to adjust the dose of Nautex.
