Why filter my pond water?

Why filter a pond? It is important to monitor the biological balance of your pond. A pond without water renewal that contains fish or ducks sees its water turn green very quickly.

To avoid green and dirty water, it is advisable to provide a filtration system. Fish in an artificial environment tend to dirty the water which will become loaded with organic matter. Too much unfiltered organic matter (via a mechanical filter or natural filter) can harm the well-being of your fish.

We recommend at least maintaining good oxygenation in your pool. In the natural environment, a basin is often reinforced with oxygen by a watercourse or springs.
