Benzoin is a resin with a sweet and warm aroma. It was very popular in the Orient where it was used as a perfume and also as a remedy. Normally used in small quantities because of its slightly acrid final note, its scent lasts a long time.

Use :

Light a charcoal, place it in a heat-resistant container with ashes or sand and insulated from the table. Then place small amounts of resins on the charcoal. You can burn pure resins or mixed with other resins, herbs or oils. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Use with caution. Ventilate the room after use. Do not inhale the smoke directly.

Remember that intention is the basis of any smudging ritual: if your heart is pure and your purpose noble, the effect will be enhanced.
