Kai Un means "Who Opens the Door to Good Fortune". This is an intense traditional incense with very strong notes of agarwood (aloe), borneol, camphor, cassia, clove and sandalwood. The square design of the sticks is unique, as is its blend of wood and spices!
In 1657, Kakuemon Yamatoya opened a shop selling medicinal plants and aromatic woods in Sakai, Japan. Since then, Baieido has continued to make its incense with the same ancestral recipes, which are secretly passed down from generation to generation. Their master craftsmen travel the world in search of the best natural ingredients: agarwood, sandalwood, resins, herbs, spices….
This format is ideal if you are a big consumer of incense. It is also an original idea to make a scented gift!
