Product feature
BactoSwim is also designed to maintain lava stone filters (annual treatment for 5 years). It is generally offered in 10 kg buckets, with a recommended application rate of 150 g/m².
Instructions for use

Apply 2 to 3 times per season (spring, summer, autumn, winter) at 150 g/m², depending on the size of your lagoon.

At the start of the season, plan 1 kg per 10,000 L of water, as soon as the water reaches 15°C, to restart the biological balance.

How it works / Thanks to its insoluble formulation, BactoSwim settles on the sludge, where microorganisms begin the gradual breakdown of organic matter by converting it into CO₂ and H₂O. The bacteria produce “exo-enzymes” to break long carbon chains into smaller components, then use “endo-enzymes” to assimilate and transform them into energy and nutrients.
This microbial activity gradually reduces sludge depth and supports a healthy aquatic environment. The rapid multiplication of bacteria consumes organic matter (CHON), encouraging the appearance of protozoa which, in turn, feed other more developed organisms.
