Check valves

Check valves for ponds, in PVC or brass: solvent-weld, threaded, for flexible hose or for 4 mm air line. They keep the pump line primed, stop water from flowing back and protect air pumps.

How to choose a check valve?

  • Use: water (pump, filter) or air (4 mm line to the air stone).
  • Fitting: solvent-weld on pressure PVC, threaded, or on flexible hose.
  • Model: Y-shaped ball check valve, clear so you can see it working, or spring-loaded brass valve for suction.
  • Diameter: that of the pipe or thread (1", 1 1/4").
