JBL Algol 100ml - Algaecide product for the control of algae in freshwater aquariums

• For beautiful freshwater aquariums: intensively combats all algae species (even green water = floating algae).
• Ideally use in the morning (low pH). Recommended before use: change 30% of the water. Ensure aeration of the aquarium during use to ensure sufficient oxygen content. Repeat if necessary after 5 days.
• Against all algae species in freshwater aquariums. Without copper!
• Used correctly, the product is harmless to fish and microorganisms.
• Included in delivery: 1 bottle of Algol. Use: 10 ml for 40 l of water. Example: 60 l aquarium: 15 ml.

Excessive algae growth always occurs when there is an excess supply of nutrients (phosphates and nitrates) in the water. For this reason, long-lasting anti-algae control always involves two steps: first, the algae control with JBL Algol anti-algae and, in the second step, the nutrients are reliably fixed. The JBL PhosEx ultra is a great way to achieve this. The use of algivorous animals, such as plecos, shrimps and snails, can also be a very good supplement.
