This zafu is handcrafted in Spain with cotton fabric imported from Japan, triple stitching and a white band to write your name. The Sakura cherry blossom is a very popular traditional pattern in Japan. It announces the arrival of spring and symbolizes renewal.

Kapok is the traditional filling for zafus in Japan: it makes it easy to meditate for long periods of time. The microfiber that constitutes it is hollow like a bamboo and covered with a greasy substance; for these reasons, kapok is lighter than cotton, nearly waterproof, and pest-free.

The kapok zafu can settle after prolonged use: place it in the sun so that it regains its original shape. One of the pleats is not sewn, which will allow you to fill it again if you wish. To clean your zafu, brush the fabric or use the vacuum cleaner. Stains can be removed by gently rubbing it with a damp cloth.
