AquaForte Econosieve 300µm - Grid filter

Operation: Water and dirt particles enter at A and rise until they fall over the wall (B). Then the water passes through the grid filter (C). Following the accumulation, the dirt precipitates more and more towards the bottom where it arrives in an evacuation section (D). The drain includes (E) a Valterra slide valve to easily flush dirt with water. When the water under the grid filter in the collection tray is not drained quickly enough, the level rises and causes the float (F) to rise. The float is connected to a tube which tilts the regulating valve (G), so that the passage for the water becomes smaller in order to brake the water supply. The pump is H-connected. Thanks to the suction tube (H), no air is sucked in. An additional important advantage of this type of filter is that the water is enriched with oxygen as it passes through the grid filter, which is favorable for the biological filter placed downstream of the EconoSieve.

Dirt drain The EconoSieve is fitted as standard with a 63 mm dirt drain which can be connected to the Valterra 50 mm knife gate valve with the supplied flexible sleeve in order to easily flush out impurities.
