AquaForte Phospat 1 cartridge (1" male)

Description

Phosphate is one of the main causes of algae (filamentous algae) appearing in water. These filter cartridges keep phosphate levels below 0.035 mg/l! This is the “magic” limit that prevents algae from growing without having any harmful effect on plants and bacteria. When the cartridge is saturated, it must be replaced (refilling or regenerating it is not possible). The main advantage over other phosphate-binding products is that the phosphate is not released again at all! The phosphate-binding capacity of Phospat cartridges is 30 times greater than that of iron(III) oxides!

- Reduces the amount of phosphate in the water and supports the biological filter

- Suitable for ponds, swimming ponds, fountains, and more

- Can absorb up to 90,000 mg (Phospat 1) or 270,000 mg (Phospat 3) of phosphate

- Flow capacity of up to 1100 l/h (Phospat 1) or 3300 l/h (Phospat 3)

- Consists of 3 layers of filter media

- Suitable for ponds of up to approximately 50 m³ (Phospat 1) and 150 m³ (Phospat 3)

- Multiple Phospat cartridges can be combined for larger bodies of water

- The Phospat cartridge must be installed downstream of a pre-filter to prevent clogging

- Max. operating pressure: Phospat 1: 6 bar, Phospat 3: 4 bar
