Description

An excellent addition to our range of drum filters! Professional PP drum filters with an advanced controller. Suitable for gravity-fed or pump-fed installation. In pump-fed mode, approximately 30% less flow. Installation height of 12 cm above the water level. Equipped with a powerful 5-bar stainless steel rinse pump and an additional gutter rinse. The flush can be adjusted manually using a valve. 120-micron stainless steel sieve panels ensure good flow and provide the subsequent biofilter with essential carbon sources, which are often insufficient in very fine filtration (< 80 microns).

The controller is very easy to use. The rinse level and dry-run level are set using a sensor with measuring probes. The rinse time is adjustable. Sockets for the drum motor, rinse pump, and circulation pump. Standard dry-run protection for the circulation pump. Manual rinsing is possible using a push button.

The PP bio chambers are custom-made for the two drum filters. They are very easy to assemble thanks to flexible connectors. The bio chambers are equipped with a rubber membrane air diffuser and a 20/25 mm PVC connection for the air pump. The grilles in the bio chambers have an 8 mm opening (so they are not suitable for KNS or pond chips/flakes). The ideal filter medium is Helix/Helix Plus. BK60: max. 150 liters of media, BK90: max. 350 liters of media.
