• Remove the filter head, open the bayonet lock of the rotor cover, take out the defective rotor with shaft and bearings and replace it with a spare rotor with new bearings.

*It may happen that the ceramic axis of the rotor breaks. It is then necessary to change the entire rotor unit that this kit contains.

Replacement is easy. Only the bottom rubber pad in the filter head is a bit difficult to access.

The JBL kit with rotor bearing extractor makes it possible to remove it.

It is also useful to regularly clean the rotor chamber with a small brush, as dirt settles there in large quantities and reduces the efficiency of the filter.
