Product feature
BactoSwim is also designed to maintain lava stone filters (annual treatment for 5 years). It is generally packaged in 10 kg buckets (recommended dosage at 150 g/m²).
Instructions for use

Spread 2 to 3 times per season (spring, summer, autumn, winter) at a rate of 150 g/m², depending on your lagoon system.

After the initial application, plan 1 kg for 10,000 L of water at the start of the season, when the water reaches 15°C, to restart the biological balance.

How does BactoSwim work?
Thanks to its insoluble formulation, BactoSwim settles on the surface of the mud, where microorganisms begin the gradual degradation of organic matter by transforming it into CO₂ and H₂O. These bacteria produce "exo-enzymes" to break down long carbon chains into smaller fragments, which are then assimilated and transformed by the bacteria's internal "endo-enzymes."
This continuous degradation reduces the sludge height and supports a healthy and balanced aquatic ecosystem. Aerobic bacteria multiply rapidly, consuming organic matter and supporting the natural food chain, up to the appearance of higher microorganisms like protozoa.
