AquaForte Prime PP80-P Drum Filter

Description

An excellent addition to our range of drum filters! Professional PP drum filters with an advanced controller. Suitable for installation in gravity-fed or pump-fed mode. In pump-fed mode, approximately 30% less flow. Installation height of 12 cm above the water level. Equipped with a powerful 5-bar stainless-steel rinse pump and additional gutter rinsing. The flush can be adjusted manually using a valve. 120-micron stainless-steel sieve panels ensure good flow and provide the subsequent biofilter with essential carbon sources, which are often insufficient in very fine filtration (< 80 microns).

The controller is very easy to use. The rinse level and dry-run level are set by a sensor with measuring probes. The rinse time is adjustable. Connections for the drum motor, rinse pump and circulation pump. Standard dry-run protection for the circulation pump. Manual rinsing via push button. The PP bio chambers are custom-made for both drum filters. They are very easy to install thanks to flexible connectors.

The bio chambers are equipped with a rubber membrane air diffuser and a 20/25 mm PVC connector for the air pump. The bio-chamber grilles have an 8 mm opening, so they are not suitable for KNS or pond chips/flakes. The ideal filter media is Helix/Helix Plus. BK60: max. 150 litres of media, BK90: max. 350 litres of media.
