OASE AlgoShield 5 L – treatment against algae proliferation

Controlling algae growth in large ponds

AlgoShield 5 L OASE is a liquid treatment designed to slow the proliferation of green algae in ponds and bodies of water. It forms part of a maintenance routine that also takes nutrients, filtration, and the accumulation of organic matter into account.

Action on algae growth

According to OASE, SpektroSorp technology acts on certain wavelengths of light to limit algae photosynthesis. By reducing their growth, the treatment also helps limit the disturbances that a large algae population can cause to pH and carbonate hardness.

• Packaging: 5-liter container.
• Treatment volume stated by OASE: up to 100 m³, depending on the conditions of use.
• Use: ponds and bodies of water affected by algae proliferation.
• OASE reference: 76513.

Preparing the application properly

Assess the pond's actual volume and check the water parameters before choosing the dose. Follow the instructions for use on the packaging, particularly the application frequency and the precautions relating to the organisms present. Removing debris and controlling nutrient inputs remain useful for limiting recurrence.

Use biocidal products with caution. Before use, read the label and the product information. Store the container in a cool, dry place protected from frost and out of reach of children.
