A White Daruma to Customize

This 12 cm Daruma to customize lets you create your own design. The white papier-mâché figurine can be decorated with colors, patterns, and a message chosen to suit your project. You will thus have a personal object to display or give as a gift.

Start by imagining a theme or intention, then prepare your decoration with the papier-mâché surface in mind. Customizing is part of the pleasure of this model: the result can evoke an event, a person, or a milestone to reach.

The Daruma Ritual

Set a specific goal and draw the first pupil. When that goal is achieved, complete the second eye. In this tradition, the Daruma supports perseverance and reminds you of the commitment made. Choose a place where you will see it regularly.
