Nitrite-Minus 5 L for 20m³ - Eliminates nitrites

Immediate help against nitrite

• eliminates up to 1.5 mg/l of nitrite per dosage
• prevents a nitrite spike

During the start-up phase of a new pond or aquarium, nitrite accumulation (“nitrite spike”) is a threat after medical treatment or a filter change, as the number of filtration bacteria present is insufficient to reduce toxic nitrite into plant nutrients. A nitrite level of 1.0 mg/l can already be harmful to fish. sera Nitrite-minus provides rapid help in case of heavy pollution and immediately eliminates up to 1.5 mg/l of nitrite per dosage. It transforms nitrite into organic amines, which are utilized by the filtration bacteria. sera Nitrite-minus is very well tolerated by ornamental fish, invertebrates, and plants and can be dosed up to 5 times.

• eliminates up to 1.5 mg/l of nitrite per dosage in a very short time
• prevents the nitrite spike and provides immediate help in case of heavy pollution
• binds nitrite and transforms it into organic amines, which are utilized by the filtration bacteria

Tip: The amount of nitrite present in the aquarium water can be tested with the sera nitrite-Test (NO₂) or the sera Quick Test.
