The combination of ozone and UV-C in a single device makes it possible to achieve a pool with minimal chlorine levels. This revolutionary combination of ozone and UV-C makes it possible to achieve a pool with little chlorine! Thanks to the venturi installed on the device, air is drawn in from outside into the space between the UV-C lamp and the quartz sleeve. The special UV-C lamp generates radiation at 254 nm and 185 nm. The 185 nm radiation converts the available oxygen into ozone. The ozone produced (max. 0.6 g/h) is mixed with water through the venturi to carry out its disinfection/oxidation work. Inside the UV-C chamber, the residual ozone production is converted by 254 nm UV-C radiation into OH- radicals (the advanced oxidation process), which have even stronger oxidizing power than ozone.
