Questions fréquentes

What is Hikari Germ?
Live bacteria (lactobacillus) added to the food. They support digestion, strengthen the immune system and reduce the amount of droppings.
Can it be mixed with another food?
This is not recommended: the benefits of Hikari Germ diminish if the food is mixed or if feeding is interrupted.
For which fish?
For koi carp. The medium pellet suits medium-sized fish.
Does it improve water quality?
Droppings become less abundant and finer, and are filtered better: less sludge and dirt in the pond.
When will I receive my order?
The shipping time is shown on the product page, just above the buy button. As soon as the parcel leaves, you receive the carrier's tracking link by email. Transit time depends on the country and the size of the parcel (pallet shipments take longer).

Le conseil de nos experts

The effect of Hikari Germ diminishes if feeding is interrupted or mixed with another food: use Saki-Hikari on its own and every day. Adjust the amount to the water temperature, as koi eat less when it drops.

The secret of Saki-Hikari

Hikari Germ is the probiotic incorporated into Saki-Hikari. It contributes to digestive function and nutrient utilization. Good assimilation can reduce the amount of waste produced and support water quality.

Distribute Balance when the water exceeds 11°C. Adjust the ration to the temperature, the activity of the koi, and the conditions of the pond. Only distribute what is consumed within a few minutes, then remove any leftovers. Hikari recommends regular and exclusive daily use to get the most out of Hikari Germ.

This 15 kg bag contains Saki-Hikari Balance Medium floating pellets. Choose it for regular premium feeding of your koi. The amount distributed should remain adapted to their appetite and the filtration capacity of the pond.
