Sera Pond phosvec - limits algae - 5 L

Sera Pond phosvec (ref. 07463, currently presented on the Sera website under the name Sera Pond Phosphate Remover) is a liquid intended for garden ponds with too high a phosphate content. It binds dissolved phosphate in the water, thus limiting excess nutrients. As phosphate is the main nutrient for algae, reducing its content helps limit their growth and contributes to maintaining the biological balance of the pond.

Phosphate comes notably from pollen, overfeeding, dead plants, and the algae themselves. The particles bound by the product are retained by the filter and removed when it is cleaned.

Key points

• Quickly binds phosphate present in the pond water
• Limits excess nutrients
• Helps prevent biological imbalance
• When used regularly, it reduces turbidity and contributes to clearer water
• 5 L container for 50,000 litres of pond water (ref. Sera 07463)

Directions for use

Use the product when the phosphate content is too high. Follow the dosage and directions for use indicated on the Sera packaging. The product flocculates to work: the formed particles are captured by the filter, which should then be cleaned.

Precautions

• According to Sera, sturgeons can react sensitively to it: do not use this product in a pond that houses sturgeons.
