In low-conductivity water (from 500 mS), OH, ozone, peroxide, and oxygen are automatically produced to disinfect the water. This system also includes a copper ionizer. However, the system can operate with >1 gram of salt/liter to produce additional chlorine. Possible salt concentration: 0 to 100 grams of NaCl/liter.
Hydrolysis, oxidation
The operating principle is based on the ability of copper (Cu + +) to act as a flocculant and bactericidal agent, and on a hydrolysis system that breaks down water molecules into oxygen, ozone, and peroxide. Together, these elements ensure complete water treatment based on oxidation-flocculation without chemicals.
Hydrolysis
Water (H2O) consists of 2 parts hydrogen (H2) and 1 part oxygen (O). Hydrolysis originally means “the separation of water.” When electrical voltage passes through the water, the chemical bond is broken. The negative oxygen charges (or ions) move toward the positive electrode. Other chemical reactions also take place during hydrolysis, producing specific ions that can also oxidize and have an additional disinfecting effect.
Ionization
The additional ionization of copper considerably increases hydrolysis capacity. The antibacterial and anti-algae properties of copper ionization are complemented by the high oxidation capacity of the hydrolysis system, enabling natural water purification without adding chemicals. This system can also be used as an anti-Legionella system. HD1-3 has a diameter of Ø63 mm and HD4 of Ø110 mm. Ionization chamber: 2" male thread
